my daughter left about 4 weeks ago for basic training at lackland air force base. and it's been hard on everyone, missing her. but i never thought it would affect the furball.

lately, he's been in this spot. day and night. i do believe he misses her!

he's either there or just behind the box he's next to.

isn't that sad?

poor kitty. i got him new treats and a couple new toys, been trying to spend time with him, but he just goes back to her bedroom and lays in the middle of the floor. he's eating and drinking fine too. maybe he's just waiting for her to come home. :(

or maybe meowmie is just putting too much into it

she has been gone before for a week here and there, and he has never done this before.

what do you guys think?

It will probably take him some time to get used to her being gone.

Poor Sig!

Do you have something of hers you can give him? An old piece of clothing perhaps? Something w/her scent on might comfort him.

lionheart, i think that's why he goes in there. i left her bed made, in case he want's to go up there. i figgered i'd wait to wash her comforter till i send it. maybe that will make him feel better. :D
