Okay I'm looking for a toy box similar to the one I had when I was a kid. It was a toy box with sliding drawers that were chalkboards. It was made of wood and usually painted in primary colors. Does anyone know where I can find one of these?

I had one of those! Not sure where you can get them, but I know what you're talking about. I'll look around and see if I find anything. =]

If you find a toy box that you like without the chalkboard, you could use the chalkboard spray paint on it!

I can't picture what you're describing -- but you're younger than me, so they probably didn't have those toy boxes in the dark ages when I was a kid.
I did find something at Toys R Us that might be useful: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2341657

I think this is the kind you are talking about? Lots of kids had them when I was little. Now they are called "vintage"! LOL!

Also, this doesn't have the chalkboard but it has some cute older type toyboxes on it!

The top one is very close, but missing the bookcase that goes on top. Too bad I didn't live close to Richland otherwise I would get it.
