Good Wormer for Adult cats?

Hey everyone, what is a good wormer for adult cats that doesn't cost a whole lot of money?

Are you having a worm problem with your pets? I see you also posted about a wormer for dogs in a different thread.

With dog or cat, I'd take a poop sample to the vet to determine which worms you're dealing with and get them treated with the right wormer.

OTC wormers are not something to mess with and don't treat all the worms, and have potentially deadly side effects.

Yeah, I am. It's that time of year. My uncle's dog needs to be wormed and my cats do too. I am noticing they look wormy. I live in a small town, vets here are expensive.

What do you mean by 'they look wormy'?? Are you actually seeing worms? If so what do they look like? Not to be gross but do they look like long spaghetti or small rice segments?

BTW most vets dont usually charge alot to just do a fecal check for parasites. Many vets don't even require that you bring your pet in, just a stool sample. You can always call to find out what their policy is and pricing for that.

I use Drontal tablets for my four kitties, and worm every three months, i have used cheaper methods before, but found them not as good, and much harder on kitties tummy's so i swear by Drontal, it costs around three dollars a pill here, not sure over there, but honestly well worth the peace of mind IMO.
