One of the things that has made the past few weeks enjoyable is the 'adoption' of my two new friends.

Well, they are kinda adopted. They show up at night and make me laugh and giggle.

They are two neighborhood cats that have made their way into the back yard. The absolute best part is that the dogs have also adopted them!

The first of my 'pet projects' is a black skinny cat with very yellow eyes! IT comes to visit but will not let me approach. I can't tell if it's a boy or girl cat.
It's coat is an blend of white and tan spots, but mostly black!

The second cat is a grey and white cat that friggen LOVES ME! She screams when I walk between the houses and comes up to rub up against me.

Her voice sounds like slow leak in a tire...WHeeEEEEeeeeeEEEEE...and she comes over to the rug on the back porch and lounges there. Even tho it's right by the dog's giant feeding trough, they both keep a wary eye out for the doggies and run if they come near. The G and W cat is kinda skittish because I raised my arm to throw a treat out for the dogs and the cat took off! I think that someone may have thrown rocks or ? at her and she reacts in a defensive way.

I try to put out small handfuls of food for them when I see them and was rewarded by a yakked up hairball right on the rug where I fed the gray cat.:p

All that love and that is the way I get my love in return.;)

Sounds like the white and tan and black is a calico colour combination...in which case you have a girl there!

Are you planning to make them real "pet projects"? Whatever will Ed say?

Hmmm....as long as they are BOTH girls....hmmmm...:D;)

And what does ED have to say about this "situation"??

Is he willing to 'share' his Space AND his Dad??

Now Richard, it is a well known fact that cats select their owners. So what are you stalling for? :D

Wait a minute. You have DOGS? All I know is Ed D Katz. Who are these mysterious canines????

I have a blended family.

Shania and Magic are my brothers dogs. They are mutts, Magic is a large red dog-Like Clifford.....the other dog is part shepard, part cattle dog. She had red to black hair with the part down the back, she also has the thick midsection and the long hair at the back of her legs.

Ed sits by the door when the cats come near and just stares....I know he doesn't like my brother's cat he gets all hissy and crazy when she comes near so I don't know how he'll act when he gets close to them. Altho I am afraid the the G&W will try to follow me into either house!!!

I do have to watch out for the G&W cat....she's always running underfoot!

That usually happens with any women in my life!;)

It's two in the morning and I just went outside to walk around the house and the G&W cat ran to greet me. I just gave her a handful of kibble and we are both happy.

Richard these fur kids know that you can't have just one cat. There must be more too keep you in line when the Edster is sleeping or busy.

DUDE!

I woke up early and picked up the Edster to go next door and turn off the lights of my mom's house.

G&W was in the porch and the Ed saw her and let out one of the largest hisses I have ever heard.

This adoption may take a while!
