One of the things that has made the past few weeks enjoyable is the 'adoption' of my two new friends.
Well, they are kinda adopted. They show up at night and make me laugh and giggle.
They are two neighborhood cats that have made their way into the back yard. The absolute best part is that the dogs have also adopted them!
The first of my 'pet projects' is a black skinny cat with very yellow eyes! IT comes to visit but will not let me approach. I can't tell if it's a boy or girl cat.
It's coat is an blend of white and tan spots, but mostly black!
The second cat is a grey and white cat that friggen LOVES ME! She screams when I walk between the houses and comes up to rub up against me.
Her voice sounds like slow leak in a tire...WHeeEEEEeeeeeEEEEE...and she comes over to the rug on the back porch and lounges there. Even tho it's right by the dog's giant feeding trough, they both keep a wary eye out for the doggies and run if they come near. The G and W cat is kinda skittish because I raised my arm to throw a treat out for the dogs and the cat took off! I think that someone may have thrown rocks or ? at her and she reacts in a defensive way.
I try to put out small handfuls of food for them when I see them and was rewarded by a yakked up hairball right on the rug where I fed the gray cat.:p
All that love and that is the way I get my love in return.;)
