Eden (4 y.o old) & Brynn (almost 2 y.o old) plotted together, and some how squirted whitening toothpaste in our DQ rescue kitty's eye.. They said they were holding him and it "squirted on his face".. But more than likely they were trying to brush his teeth and he moved his head and it got in his eye.
We flushed his eye out with water as soon as we saw it, used a warm washcloth on it, and he is still on his antibiotics that we got from the vet.
I just want to make sure this isn't going to make him go blind, or we need to take him to the vet. His eye is pretty red, but its starting to look a little better.
Any tips or advice would be appreciated. We now have Buster in a new crate that they cannot get open, and a child proof thing on our doorknob so they can't go into our room.
