Buddy is back in my bathroom. He will be on the website of Helping Paws and Sabita's Rescue.

Isn't he just the most precious thing you've ever seen????

I've made a decision to put both Ari and Buddy on my friend's website. I have a feeling that Ari will get placed first because of his uniqeness. Rene even said that when his two siblings were on the site, they got placed in a matter of days. She's also going to donate any adoption fees to me to help rescue another litter of kittens that jerk we've been helping says he has seen. Which means I'll have my Casey II. If by chance Buddy does get a home of his own, that would be wonderful too.

We'll have to wait and see.

John,

He sure has mine.

I let him out of the bathroom and fed him canned food with everyone else. All is calm. He's sleeping on top of the fridge and the rest of them are sleeping in their usual places. So far so good. Just to be on the safe side, I'll put Buddy in the bathroom so I don't have to jump up and down outta bed if there are any issues.

He reminded me immediately of a "less plush" version of a certain now-Florida kitty ...

There is something so very special about orange and white boy cats :)

He looks so just like on of the boys in my colony, Brodie, who has a wonderful disposition. I hope he gets a wonderful furever home soon.

Aww, Donna - he has the sweetest face, and that little ginger 'freckle' on his cheek!

If he doesn't get adopted, that'll be a sign...and think how HAPPY Paula would be to know WHO her little boy is with....

Not that I'm suggesting anything, mind you.... ;):D

He's so adorable and I think that a lot of people will see his sweet face and fall in love with him. Good luck.:)

Well, one of my cats has made it VERY clear they don't want another cat in the house.:( I went into the bathroom to feed him and could smell that "male" odor. I thought, oh no, not again.

I sniffed around and found that someone had sprayed the kitty bed I left in the shower stall for him (he prefers the windowsill). Last night I noticed that they (my cats) kept going in and out of the bathroom while I had buddy loose. I thought it was because of his food (they were eating it).

So it looks as though no one is staying, other than my original cats. I just cannot have any peeing in this place. :(:(

I know he'll find a great home. My heart is broken as I really thought I had my Casey II.:(

awww, Donna...well, if Ari is adopted first, you may have to bring Buddy back...maybe it will be better then.

But - if someone falls totally in love with him, you know he will have a good home!

Candace,

At this point I'm trying to get Diane to take him and put him at her Mom's. There's a renter there that will look after him. I'm waiting a call back from her.

I called Paula yesterday and told her that once she's in her new place, she's getting Buddy back, no ifs, ands or buts. I've been MORE than generous helping her out and want my house back to normal withy no peeing. She lowers this bomb on me that her live-in respite assignment has ended and she's not working. She starts crying (yeah I know she's upset, however enough is enough). I told her I was sorry but I'm sure another assignment will come up and to start looking in the paper for a 9-5 job anywhere. I even told her that BB&B is looking for help and I'd give her a reference. The problem is she doesn't have her driver's license and has to depend on the bus system. The BB&B in Wethersfield is right on a busline.

After having to put Liam down, I was in no mood to talk to anyone. I'm tired, angry and just fed up with the whole situation and people in general. Buddy is on the Humane Society's list so when they get a spot, they'll call me. Problem with that is, I'm not at the top of the list.

Am I being too harsh on her?? Everytime I talk to her she's ranting about how her life stinks and she can't catch a break. She's a sweet lady but I just can't take anymore.

I think that the stress of the past couple of weeks is catching up w/you, Donna, that's all, and having to put Liam to sleep was the topper. More prayers going up for you. :)

Hey, Donna:

I forgot that you said her live-in assignment had fallen through, in which case she could take Baby/Buddy back.

I think you and she are under tons of stress at the moment for entirely different reasons. {{{{hugs}}}}

How about your spons or anyone in that network?

PS - good mental health break...go have a fresh look at icanhascheezburger.com

I thought Buddy was going to have a new furrevever home, but it was not to be.
The lady held him up like a side of beef!! Her son had to translate for her. She wanted 2 tiger kittens. I felt bad for Buddy. But he's comfy with my crew for now.

So, he's back at my place awaiting a taker. Think he's comfortable?????
