Hi,
yikes!
It seems that Female cats are more prone to this behavior than
males.
Do you have any type of feathers on the bed?
After my old girl friend purchased a feather bed her cat, Bear,
would pee on the bed regularly. That may be a trigger!
It became a weekly ritual, and then it stopped, no rhyme, no reason.
(one story that may help, much to MY chagrin, was once after
having a moment with my g-friend, we were lying on the bed,
savoring the moment when i felt a hot sensation on my back....
 ......yep, i was a marked man. We learned not to subject the 'kids' to such behavior!)
Another idea, this takes patience and a bit of courage, is to place the litter box in an area close to the 'accident zone' and gradually move it towards the area where it regulary belongs.
There is a gentleman who does a saturday morning radio show on KABC 790 in los angeles, his name is Warren Eckstein, and he is the GREATEST when it comes to pet advice!!!!!
I do not know if the station broadcasts on the internet or if he is syndicated, but I'm sure there are ways to get some advice from him.
good luck and thanks for not laughing at my 'chagrin'
