Mischa and Clarise (former foster babies Locket and Velvet) have arrived safely at my house. They look wonderful!! Beautiful golden brown eyes, just like mom (Cameo).
Mischa seems like a scaredy cat (which surprizes me) after all, she was not feral nor born in the wild AND she was adopted at a very young age. It took her family an entire hour to catch her to place her in a carrier for transport. Why was she not properly socialized?
Any way, since their return was based on a pee problem, they are at this time in seperate cages, with empty litter boxes in hopes of getting a urine sample from each of them. Their vet appointment is tomorrow.

AWWW, THEY ARE SO CUTE.
SOME PEOPLE EXPECT CATS TO BE INSTANT PETS ,, AND BE SUPER FRIENDLY RIGHT FROM THE START, THE WAY MOST DOGS WILL BE.
BUT CATS ARENT LIKE THAT , AND ITS SAD THAT THE SHY ONES ARENT GIVEN THE TIME TO ACCLIMATE THEMSELVES.:(
I KNOW THAT THE SHY ONES LIKE POUNCIERGE MAKE THE BEST COMPANIONS ONCE THEY GET USED TO YOU:love::cool:

Wow! They went from cute little kittens to absolutely STUNNING young adults! I know I am biased when it comes to tuxies, I just adore them, but these two are just gorgeous!
Welcome back girls!

Poor girls are so confused. And of course, they aren;t going to cooperate and pee in the empty box. With my luck they'll pee in the carriers on the way to the vet tomorrow, and get it all over themselves.
And, while I don't wish for them to be sick, I DO hope that at least Clarice's urine tell a story of why she might be peeing on their clothing.
they sure are beautiful babies, though. :)

Are they as identical as they look in their pics?! It's like the same cat 4xs, lol.

There ARE differences. But not many.
I just work up, now I must go check if they left me a urine sample. Wish me luck.

Well, BOTH girs decided to pee on their beds rather than pee in an empty box. So, hopefully their bladders will fill up again by 11:30.

Oh wow, you've got Moxie in that box!!! The faces are the same as hers.
I hope things go well at the vet and you get some answers. I wonder, did the peeing problem start before or after the dog?

Clarise (the one MOST suspected of being the pee-er) has a 104.1 fever! but, would not give a urine sample....so she is staying with the vet until she pees.
Mischa has a more normal temp, 102, and DID give a sample.
Shoul get the results tomorrow.

The girls BOTH have crystals! so they will be getting prescription food now.
Clarice has no fever today.
BTW, we are going back to their original 1by1 names to honor their new start in life. So RE-welcome, Locket and Velvet!!! :)

I'm sorry that both girls have crystals:( but at least now you know why they were peeing inappropriately. I hope that the new food will help them.

And the previous "owners" couldn't be bothered with a simple vet visit?
Locket and Velvet deserve the best - and those people weren't it!
Glad they are on their way to feeling better!

I also think that it is better if they are back with you. An owner who doesn't take the kitties to a vet under these circumstances better shouldn't have them.
I also prefer the names of Locket and Velvet :)
