I too have a biter - a big, black snotty male named Alex. Most of the time a loving cat, but won't hesitate to give me a bite if he feels like it. But most importantly, we went through years of his constantly throwing up. Finally, after lots of tests, etc. nothing major wrong, just probably an inflammatory bowel thing. Tried all the vet food, single ingredient, etc., but nothing really worked until we started giving him a low dose of Prednisone every few days. And it worked! Now only throws up the occasional hairball.
