Pine, cedar and soft wood shavings are bad for all rodents and small animals. It is even believed that they are bad for humans if you humans are around them constantly (like they work making/packaging wood shavings).

I wonder when that article is dated? We knew 11 years ago that shavings - pine, or cedar - were a bad idea for rabbit litter boxes, and only ever used CareFresh. I find it amazing that a current rabbit rescue wouldn't know that.
