Yesterday another color was added to the rainbow bridge in the form of a feisty little dilute tortie cat named Pebbles.
Pebbles inner strength and power allowed her to stay with us until she celebrated her 22nd birthday.
The last 3 years have been hard on her, but she kept on bouncing back.
I met this wonderful soul almost 9 years ago she was a loving affectionate tolerant beautiful soul then, as she still was today when she peacefully left us for bigger adventures.
I will always remember her sandpaper kisses in the morning when she wanted breakfast, her raiding the fresh cooked dog food for the best pieces of fresh cooked chicken, her pushing her head in the pot when I would try to eat yogurt, or stealing a piece of pasta from my dinner plate.
Pebbles loved the dogs, often getting right up close and sleeping next to them, she was my bed partner sleeping in the prime spot, her head buried in my armpit every night. When it was time for bed I just had to say "cmon pebblies, you and me kiddo, its our time " she would come running and head butt my face, getting as close as she could with out crawling up my nose, although she always managed to get at least 2 whiskers in there. God I missed that last night!
So today there is a massive gaping space where this little 5lb girl once resided, but her spirit is close, and she will always remain in my heart, so while a piece of my heart is missing today, I also feel it has grown because I had the pleasure to love this little 5lb scrap of a cat that no-one wanted.
Enjoy the bridge sweetheart I will see you again one day.

That Has To Be Ne Of The Finest Pet Pile Ups I Have Ever Seen With All Those Cats And Dog Friend All Piled Up On That Bed Together.
Thats True Closeness, And True Love.
I Know How You Feel About Pebbles As I Think We Tend To Be More Protective Of Our Tiny Dresden Doll Cats.
I Know That My Tiny Trio Precious, Almond Rocca And Diane Will Be There To Greet Pebbles As Hse Arrives In Aruba, And They Will Be A Feisty Fouresome , And Be There To Greet You When You Make It To The Rainbow Bridge On That
One Fine Day.

What a sweet, lovely girl! Bless you for giving the best home ever to a 13 year old kitty. Many would pass a senior cat by - so this was meant to be!

Another 13 years with Pebblies, who loved you, and had all the fur friends she could ever want.

My condolences to you...and I hope that all your furry friends and you can comfort each other. I am sure that they all have noticed.

Take care.

What a lovely tribute to your girl, Pebbles. I had tears in my eyes reading it. She was a beautiful girl, and I'm so glad she spent the last 9 years, being loved completely and truly, by you.

Play hard at the Bridge, Pebbles.

Hugs to you!

Pebbles had a life well lived.
I know there is a Pebbles sized hole in your heart now, but I already know that you know she's alright, in fact, she's at her prime once again.

Bide your time, until you meet again. One Fine Day.

Godspeed to the Bridge, Pebblies

Your tribute to Pebbles was so heartwarming, I felt as though she was right here beside me while I was reading about her. What a wonderful, long life she had w/you. You both were so blessed and what a reunion it will be one day. Peace to you and RIP at the Bridge, Pebbles.
