3 pics of Sparkle

Sparkle sat outdoors with me for a while over the weekend.

She is still losing weight. She's had 2 urinalyses, 2 rounds of blood work, all tests are normal. The vet had suggested x rays but can't say what that will tell us. Apart from eating 6 and 8 times per day, Sparkle acts normally, as well.

She looks great to me. I think in the summer, they just loose weight. Has she really lost weight or just look like she has? Giz, to me, looks so skinny that I was about to panic and haul her off tot he vet. Her hip bones are so pronounced that it scared me. ha! I weighed her and she hasn't lost any... She is just a BIG boned girl, long, tall and lean... :rolleyes:

Thanks, everyone. Sparkle is one of my heart cats; RB Amber was one as well.

I worry about her. She has lost 8 pounds in less than a year, and it constantly hungry. but maybe it is just how she is aging; she was always OBESE and had plenty to lose. Now she has all that saggy skin, especially around the abdomen.

I call her "Sweet Stuff!"

Wow...gorgeous kitty!! I assume the vet has tested her for these but can't hurt to mention it: Thyroid, Diabetes, Cortisone levels, liver enzymes. The fact that she's eating is Good, I'd think! How old is she and what does she weigh now? She sure is beautiful!

Sparkle is 11 years young, and down to 8 pounds, and still dropping weight. :(

She IS beautiful, inside as well as out!

mmmm....8 pounds is light but he looks so healthy. I hope he's ok...he sure has a great hooman on his side to see to it that he is :)
