I am very sorry to post this but hunters best friend Dudley has passed away the vet called and he said that even though Dudley got up and walked away he has some bleeding and broken ribs and that he should of been brought in right way it was the impact of him hitting the ground and since he wasn't he has gone to the puppy rainbow bridge..

I am soo sorry Dudley your life was cut so short you were a very very sweet and loving puppy the few months i known you and u loved playing with hunter I know that hunter will miss playing with you But i know that you will be looking down on him

Yes they are/were i agree they should't be allowed to have another pet and the vet her name is Christi she is gonna look into charges against him for animal cruelty cause he knew that dudley fell and did not seek him vet care

That face of his shows just how much he loved life... he looks like such an amazing, friendly pup. What a shame his life was cut short like this. I do hope some kind of charge is pressed against his owner.

If the vet is willing to testify that the animal was injured with the owner's knowledge (whether the wounds were inflicted directly or indirectly by the owner him/herself) and denied the animal emergency medical care, therefore furthering his injuries, charges CAN be made against the owner, IF the vet is willing to comply and provide a medical report on her findings.

Sadly, in most abuse cases, too often the vets don't want to "get involved" and eventhough they know the animal was abused or neglected, when approached by law enforcement officials they refuse to get involved, so I really hope this vet sticks by her word!!!

Well i went to the vets today to get some shampoo for hunter so it will make his coat shinny and to learn how to trim his nails and i also got an update on whats going on with dudleys owner..

She is going into court to file charges on him on monday and since she know's someone in the court system she said that she might be able have him see a judge sooner then normal and she is willing to testify against him and so am i since i was there when it happened... Hunter keeps looking over to where dudley lived and crying i think that he know's his best friend is gone.. I know he is just a dog but they can sense these sorta thing's...

I miss the little guy when he would see me or hubby outside he would just come running like a mad man over to us and giveing kisses like crazy...

I will never believe this as long as I live. I have seen too many times where my dog/s have come to me when I'm in pain or someone I love is in pain they come to them for comfort. so Yes I'm sure as well, just as you that Hunter knows his friend is gone, and it may even be the Dudley's spirit comes to visit Hunter.

OMG, how terrible.:( I agree with you all, this person should NEVER be allowed to own any animal ever again. Poor Dudley... what a cute boy he was!
