Hi everyone,
My 7-year old cat Tommy bites people when they're excited. I find it really strange, so I wanted to share this with you.
We first observed this behaviour when someone in my family got mad and screamed at someone else. Tommy went up to them and bit them in the leg. At first we thought it was so cute, because it looked like he didn't want people to fight.
Later, we noticed he would also bite whenever someone laughed real hard, or talked in an excited manner. Just a couple of minutes ago, I told my sister what I wanted to do with my life, how I want to finish my degree and become a teacher until I know what I really want to do. I wasn't even that excited (c'mon it's not that awesome of a plan lol) and Tommy bit me.
So anyway, I just wanted to throw this out there. Tell me what you think. Does he do it because he doesn't like noise? Does he want to be the center of attention?
Has anyone else observed this in their cats?
Thanks.
