The angels (2 larger ones are a pair and dropped eggs after just over a week in the tank, sadly they ate them at wriggler stage)

Newest full tank shot, not real clear at present, cleaned the cannister filter (added new foam media), water change and moved quite a few plants around, so stirred it up a bit. But anyway, this will give you an idea of how its going :)

Hey, here's a question for you - what camera settings do you use to get such good, clear fishie photos?
Oh, and your tank looks gorgeous, thanks for sharing it with all of us!

Gorgeous as always! :)
Gosh, I am so jealous that you can keep a planted tank. I used to have one, but now I only have fish that think it is fun to uproot them all and gnaw them to pieces. :-(

Wow, Beautiful! I have a few questions on this, exactly how do you change the water in such a large tank? How many tanks do you have?
Alasse
12-16-2008, 09:05 PM
I change it by using a gravel syphon hooked to a garden hose (the garden hose goes outside onto the garden) syphon out about 25%. Then refill by bucket (i cant use the hose as it only connects to town water, i use rain water from a watertank to supply aquariums)
I currently also have running
2x 1ft tanks
3x 2ft tanks
2 AquaStart tanks
I have 3 tanks not currently running (1x 3ft is close to being filled)
Looking good if not better then ever.
I had, along with the 125g, a 50g with 2 or 3 breeding colonies of albino bristlenose plecs, a 55g SA plec/catfish tank, I dont remember what I had in the 30g. With all the catfish digging I couldnt ever keep any plants in place to take hold. The stingrays kept me from having plants in the 125.
