My family and I got these cuties on Tuesday afternoon! As you can see, there are two of them; there is one orange male (as nearly all orange cats are boys) and one tabby female. They aren't from the same litter and therefore not exactly the same age (but very close!), but are good buddies, so they were sent to be fostered together. Anyways, the little orangie is about a month old; the other one, about 5 weeks or so. The last time they were weighed (about Tuesday) the little orangie weighed .8 of a pound, and the female-1.1 pounds. They are too adorable! The orangie is brave and loves attention. He purrs SO much; when he is eating, laying in the sun, getting love. He LOVES to play, as most kittens do, and puts toy mice in his mouth and carries them around. We want to call him something for his stay, so when he goes back to the shelter he will have a name, even if his new adopters name him something else. What do you think about Henry? We want to do the same for the little girl. The little girl is quite shy, but is warming up. She is such a little beauty and has that "catitude." She loves to play, too. This morning she was attacking her brother's tail. I have been able to carry and pet her for a little bit; she seems happier every day, but so far, no purrs. :-( Keep praying she'll warm up even more! She has come a long way already. ;-) Anyways, we were thinking, "Maizie" for the little girl. Do you like that spelling? Or should it be, "Miss Maizie?" I was also thinking, "Milagros" (spanish for miracles), and we could call her "Mila" or "Milly" but I think I like the other name better for her. What do you think? Thanks for all your help, and enjoy the cuteness! We certainly are. And, oh don't worry. Nellie and Reggie are still getting their share of attention. ;-)
