http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q57/sfsamm/Siggy/gotchajpg.png Cuddles!!!
Cuddles is now 5 and has lived with me 3 entire years. She has come a LONG way from the frightened little girl I brought home from the shelter on June 18th, 2005. (I'm late, shame on me!)
Cuddles was found roaming the streets, and pregnant. She was taken in to the city shelter and there she sat, waiting to be adopted. She got caught up in the baby raccoon mess, and had to be in quarantine (with all the other shelter animals) for 6 months. Finally, the ACO determined she was just taking up room. The receptionist phoned me in tears and begged me to come get her, which I did. No paper work, no adoption fee, just get her out before the ACO did. At that point, she had been living in the cage at the shelter for 18 months, and she was about 2 years old. An entire bedroom scared her, and she stayed in the carrier (door opened) for several days. Even now, she rarely leaves my bedroom, that is LOADS of space for this little lady.

My sweet girl has made so many adjustments and is much calmer ( and a bit pudgy!) from that frightened furry creature I brought home 3 years ago. Please join me in wishing her many more Gotcha Days.
