I'm so sorry that you had such an unfortunate start in life but your angel mom saved you and now you lead a charmed life. Oh Munchkin, I didn't know whether to cry or cheer as I read your story. From such a sad start, you found that one very special person who could help you heal and become the grand cat you were meant to be. How wonderful! Both of these photos are so wonderful it shows you in all your regal feline glory.

Heartfelt thanks to Munchkin's Magnificent Mom for saving this beautiful creature. This sweet kitty's story is yet another reason why we need to make a change in laws regarding animal abuse (stiffer penalties and a clearer description on what abuse is), sterilization (it should become law for all shelters and puppy and kitty mills need to be outlawed) and also back off of people who have kind hearts and are willing to take in more than their share of animals due to the ignorance and cruelty of "inhumane" beings we sadly share the Earth with. Why are these saviours being fined and those who are committing heinous acts not? Please write to your representatives until a change is made.

Bless Munchkin, his mom, and all those who help these animals who can't speak for themselves.

Munchkin, I wept as I read your story - then I got to this photo and I had to laugh! How wonderful that your human cared for you, loved and nursed you back to health, so now you rule the house. Munchkin, I am so glad cats have 9 lives, as it gave you the chance to find your mum you have today and show her just how great of a cat you truly are.
While reading your story one question continued to shoot through my mind: "Who in their right mind could do something so cruel to such a sweet little guy?!" It is such a blessing that you crossed paths with your current mum. I am glad you gave her the message that you were not ready to give up. :) You have made it a long way and you have many years ahead of you in your new, loving home.

But you knew enough even then to appear before your new mommy because she was so very kind and would love you.:love:
