My brother just emailed me that he had asked a few days ago for my seven year old niece to write some grocery items on the grocery list - and to do it very nicely and neatly.

He forgot about the list and today he picked it up and there on the list were the items he had mentioned - written very neatly.

But half way down the page in large letters was the following!

AND A PUPPY!

well I know several people who have picked up puppies in the parking lot at the local Walmart's so there is always hope.
Altho I wouldn't advise it! ;)

Never seen puppies at a supermarket around here, not to worry folks. I bet she was just hoping to plant the seed ... How are their bunnies doing?

Renita and Bo are happily doing very well. Thanks, Karen for asking.

Sydney has been campaigning for a puppy for quite a while now. So her addition to the family grocery list is just a large HINT.

And Phred - don't worry, I am sure they would never pick one up in the parking lot of Walmart - or any other chain store.

Not quite subtle I suppose, but how could you say no to that! :)

He can be lucky. She could have mentioned a kitty and a horsie as well ;)

Aww, what a sweet girl - I hope she gets her puppy. Perhaps for her birthday, they could go and rescue one. :)
