But, I was wondering why Shelby and every other rottweiler i've seen has more of a square shaped head? Gypsy's is way more round, but she used to have a square looking head when she was a puppy.http://i25.tinypic.com/501qpf_th.jpg

*THE* rottweiler's square head shape is a breed characteristic.
*A*rottweiler's head shape will vary with its breeding and rearing :) Nature and nurture! Let's say conformation bred Rotties are more apt to have a blocky head whereas a purely companion Rottie has a rounder head.

Yup, it's one of those genetic lotteries. Maybe some grand-dog had a rounder head. As long as she's not a show dog, I wouldn't worry about it one bit. Is she her proper weight?

Well, we have another rottweiler, Shelby, and she's waaay bigger than Gypsy, but Gypsy is older by three years. Also, Shelby is over weight.
I will check and see what Gypsy's weight should be.
.......and get Shelby on a doggie diet! ;)
