Just back from the vets, Sasha is having a minor vestibular incident right now, not nearly as bad as the last one. But she is also in declining health and the vet predicts she likely won't see Christmas.

Just wanted to share this with everyone and have you keep her in your thoughts.

Gayle, I am so sorry. Peaches also suffered from this in her last year. {{{Hugs}}}

She will be in our thoughts and prayers.

The worst thing about our pets is that they don't live forever.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and good thoughts. Sasha's having good and bad days. Yesterday we had a great walk, even chased a bunny, albeit he was already gone as we ran and we didn't run very fast. Today, not so good, she's fallen down twice. Both times on her left shoulder. The last time, just a few minutes ago, she dumped her muzzle in the dirt too. She is still eating, still wants treats, and still wants to go for walks. Taking it day by day until it's time to let her go to the Bridge to see big sister Sami.

I'm glad she is still enjoying her walks and treats! :) This must be awfully hard on you - but I hope you can build lots of good memories now to add to the ones you already have.

When Mz Logan lays like that, I gently grab her face and give a zillion kisses on her eyes, cheeks, nose...please do the same to Sasha for me. She's gorgeous.

Sasha says thank you for the extra kisses. Mom already kisses me up alot and I really like it, but the more extra kisses have made my morning special. Now mom, get off the computer and let's go for a walk!!

Sasha is still eating, very well in fact. I've got her some meds from the doggie health food store to make her old age stiffness not so bad. We go for walkies every morning, how far is totally up to Sasha. She will be with us for a while yet. She should have no problem seeing her birthday/gotcha day next Wednesday, July 23rd.
