A woman in Randolph Mass., who owns a pet store in Stoughton Mass., had 90 dogs and puppies -- mostly puppies -- in the home she was renting. The conditions were "deplorable," and the house has been condemned.

Animal Rescue League of Boston is handling the investigation and caring for the puppies and dogs. PetCo has helped with vetting and grooming, and has collection boxes in all their area stores for people who want to help.

How sad! I hope she is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Note: the site says because of the ongoing nature of the case, the dogs and puppies are not currently available for adoption.

That is deplorable. (Read some of the background stories to find out what happened) Paws crossed all these pups find good furever homes when they are released for adoption.

Chalk up another story about why not to buy puppies from pet stores.

I'll bet they need contributions to help with Vet care and food. That's
a lot of rescue pups at once.
