I thought I had another kitten gave away this past weekend, but I ended up bringing her back home. She was so scared at her new house that she hid and wouldn't even come out to eat. I still need to give the last 4 kittens from the litter away, but I think I will say they all have to go to the same home.

Your chances of someone taking ALL the kittens are nil. And please, charge an adoption fee so they don't go to puppy mills (yes there are kitty mills too) or research laboratories.

We Wish You Luck With Finding Those Little Ones A Furrever Home, But I Think That It Will Be Hard To Find A Legitimate Cat Home For All 5 Kittens.

I would be suspicious of anyone who would take all 4 kittens. Please take Donna's advice and charge a fee for the kittens; $20 a piece isn't too much and it tells you whether or not the adopter is serious. Good luck and thanx for taking care of the sweeties until you find good, permanent homes for them. :)

Aww, some kittens just take a bit longer to adjust, that's all. She would have come out of hiding eventually, we know this from many, many stories that have been told on Cat of the Day!
She'll just need to go to someone with patience, that's all.

It would probably be easier to adopt them out in pairs.

I live in north central Nebraska - if you could take the kittens I could possibly meet you 1/2 way. The kitten (I've been calling her Lucy) that I took to my son is usually the friendliest one. Blackberry is all black except for a white spot on his stomach. The other two, Bodine and Bodine 2 are brown & black - maybe what you would call tortoise shell? They are the least two friendliest and would require the most patience. They are just lately starting to sit by me. Bodine was sick when I was getting ready to leave the other day, so I took him to the vet and they kept him for me while I was gone.

Nancy, actually you are not that horribly far away and I could meet you 1/2 way. But !! I have so been wanting to add a new kitten or two to my household (I have 3 others -- Millie, Abby and Cleo). But with my recent divorce I am going to be moving pretty soon and as it is, I am worried about where I will move to with the 3 I already have. I am absolutely not giving them up under any circumstances. And I worry that adding 1 or 2 more will make finding housing that much more difficult. I am not in a position to buy a house, so I have to rent an apartment or rent a house, so that will be difficult with even 3 cats. So I think I absolutely have to wait until I get settled in somewhere and know that I can add 1 or 2 more cats at that time. But I have every confidence you will be able to home the kitties you have. Good luck, Nancy and thank you for helping them !!
