Everyone,
I am in a bind to find a foster home for a sweet, precious 40lb 10 month old dalmatian. This girl is as sweet as they come. UTD on shots, and hw neg. She loves dogs and LOVES cats and gets along with kids fine. Please contact me at
[email protected] if you can help! I am in Mobile, AL, but transport can be arranged.
Thanks,
Amber

My friend, Melissa, who has the german shorthair, Lady, LOVES dalmatians. I know Lady would love her too, but I doubt she could convince her parents to let her take her! :( Is she trained at all? She's having a hard time training Lady, so it would be hard for her to train both at the same time.

How old is Melissa?
Fame is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She is working on her housebreaking, and does great with a doggy door. She is a little scared on a leash. But is a good girl overall. She is not rambunctious at all, and is very easy to take care of.
Thanks.

Melissa is 19. Unfortunately, because her parents are not real animal lovers, they won't allow any animal in the house. Lady is in a dog run in the back, but I can assure you she gets TONS of attention. If Fame is used to being in the house she'd probably be better off in a different home.

Yes I totally agree. She must be an inside dog, outside for potty breaks. Thank you anyway.

Well if it comes down to either living outside with tons of attention or being put to sleep, let me know. Melissa says she really is interested in her. Can I see a pic of her? I wish the situation was different, believe me it is not by Melissa's choice that Lady has to live outside. :(

I really wish I could help you out, but I'm in Houston and really have my hands full with the two dalmatians we have, one of which is deaf and still a puppy. If I can find someone, I'll let you know.

This will just be a foster home or a permanent home?

Thanks Goosh! Please let me know if you hear anything.
She needs a foster home OR a forever home. If someone decides to foster her, I will definitely pursue finding her forever home for them (post on website and such).
Thanks.

I wish I could take her, but my house is full. I use to have a boss that wanted a dalmation, but he transfered and I have no way to contact him. I hate being so close, but unable to do anything!

Good luck in finding her a home! She's a real beauty, and it sounds like a sweetie too. I wish I could think of someone else who would be interested in her, but I don't know of anyone. Let us know what happens!

I am so tempted to say I'll take her, but that is such a long drive to see if she would get along with my girls. I keep debating a third dog and going back and forth on it. I would love to have a dlmation. How is the search going? Any Leads?
