Hey, I know that site! ;) I helped do the research for that site a couple of years ago (you can even see a very young picture of Nakita under the 'About Us' section). We also created another site called Save Samoa (www.savesamoa.org) . We created them to bring awareness and consolidate all relevant resources from the internet for cat welfare.

I didn't know Laurel, since we worked on different areas of the site, but I'm sorry to hear the current events. :(

That information is invaluable! I have to echo every word. Anyone who is contemplating the taming of a feral or semi-feral cat should read this and then read it again. I learned most of this the hard way.
