No more babies for my little Sara...

My foster kitty Sara was spayed today and did very well. She was SOOO lonely without her babies (her last baby was adopted on Mother's Day). She'd yowl at night. I found a little stuffed kitty I had laying around and gave it to her saying, "Here's your baby, sweetheart." Well, she latched onto that toy like it WAS her baby!!! I sent it with her to the vet. Since then she's been alot more relaxed. She'll be coming home tomorrow to my house (her picture will be in my Pet of the Week column tomorrow). Hopefully someone will adopt this sweet girl. If I didn't have so many, I'd keep her. She is actually the spitting image of Lil A. Gold eyes and all.

If I could only access Photobucket I'd be able to post pictures of her.

Good news - and I am glad she took to that little stuffie! Poor baby - I remember you wrote about her, and she had bitten you badly, she was so freaked out.

Has she settled down and not tried to bite again? I bet she just needed lotsa love!

It's tough, isn't it, when we want to give another sweetie a home and just can't. I'm sure that you'll give her enough love, though, Donna, that she'll calm down and someone will see the sweetness in her and give her a permanent home. You made it easier for her prospective family by having her spayed, so that's one hurdle jumped. :)

I just saw her picture in the paper this morning. It tugged at my heart strings. I hope it tugs at someone else's as well.

She's calmed down alot which is a good thing. I didn't take any of the bites or scratches personal.
