A home needs to be found immediately for Two cats and a dog left
orphans when their mom. Laurel , passed away last week. They need to
be kept together if at all possible..you can imagine how sad they are
not being able to wake up their mommy and are now homeless. Please
ehlp if you knwo anyone in the TAMPA FLORIDA area who can help//these

Well all you fantastic worried and helpful cats,
Mom had a few hours of sleep, you should see her, not a pretty picture!
I'll post updates in my diary as soon as I have them.
Yes, that photo sure looks like Noelle and I'll know soon.
Keep purring and praying for good news for all of our friends, Aldo, Tess and Noelle.

RESCUING ALDO AND TESS - UPDATE

Fellow Catsters,
You would not believe, well, yes you would, being these are Catsters and Dogsters. I've had over 100 pmails today, offers of all kinds of help, concern, worry, finances, encouragement, .... what a fantastic outpouring. But it's such a shame there was no formal plan like the emergency cards. This has scared the kitty litter out of many of us. Tomorrow we will find out if it's a tragedy or something better. I know I won't sleep until I get that phone call tomorrow. Something is now in motion, and we hope to know more soon. I'm just asking everyone to PRAY that all can be rescued.

Once we know they are safe we can take the next step.
Please forgive me if I do not answer your pmails right away, mom is bone-tired and must rest and pray that the morrow brings good news.

CONFIRMED:
Noelle is alive and well!
Her previous name (before Laurel adopted her) was Jasmine and that is the name on her collar so that is her animal control name. Her animal control ID number is #A0839165

The police are required to call Animal Control when there is an animal found in the home with someone who has passed. Please don't be upset with Laurel's brother. She'll be held until May 24th and we expect a rescuer to fill out adoption paperwork on her today or tomorrow. Keep your paws crossed.

Update on the trapping and rescue...Aldo is on kidney meds, so hopefully he will be caught and taken to the vet.

RESCUE UPDATE
Trapper is being hired.
Collecting Funds to help with transport for Noelle and checkups, etc.
The cats are NOT at animal control, probably still on the property.
Donations accepted to help all parts of the rescue.

RESCUE UPDATE
Trappers were not very eager to get going.
Laurel's friend was referred to a woman who left her job in the middle of the afternoon to get her traps. They will meet at the house around 6 pm today. She does not want money! Says she has to help because of the special circumstances with Aldo and Tess.

Collecting Funds to help with all parts of the rescue and transport.
The cats are NOT at animal control.
Donations accepted to help with all parts of the rescue and relocation.
I will cover all the paypal fees.

Good News Catsters!
ALDO is in the small workshop on Laurel's property, behind the house. He was seen by Gimme's mom. The woman who brought the traps also saw him. She set a trap there and one nearer the house. Tess was seen yesterday but not today. The next-d00r neighbor will check the traps throughout the evening. Once caught they will be immediately taken to their vet.
Very hopeful that tomorrow will bring even better news,

CATSTERS!
ALDO is in the trap!!! Aldo is in the trap!
The elderly neighbor checked and there he was!
He called Laurel's friend who just emailed me.
The woman who set the traps will pick him up and take him to the vet early morning.
Hooray! I'm shaking as I (mom) write(s) this.
Hoping that by morning Tess is trapped too, keep purring and praying.

Aldo and Noelle are in their new homes, even if foster homes.

No sign of Tess - a worker may have taken her home. Prayers for this kitty please.

And - as rosethecopycat said - people ought to make preparations for their pets for when they die.

Laurel had Wegener's disease...not immediately fatal, but serious enough to warrant planning ahead. She had had the illness for many years...so why she did not plan for her pets is beyond me.
