Her name is Mama, she was dumped off at the Humane Society with her 5 babies. They all had ringworm and the HS was going to euthanize the whole bunch. Sabitas Rescue took them in, isolated them and treated them for the ringworm. The babies have been adopted and now it's their mama's turn. Mama is black with golden eyes. I approximate her age at about a year. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures but Photobucket won't let me in (it's rejecting my sign-in).

Her picture and bio will be in the paper next Saturday (24th). I'm sure she'll find a home quickly.

Hi Donna!

If you haven't been on photobucket recently, they had a security issue. Everyone had to change their password to get back in. For a few days, it would prompt everyone on their first sign in to change their password. So this 'may' be the problem.

I hope dear Mama finds a terrific furever home quickly! She is so young, she needs to get settled and start loving her new family.

Aw, little Mama. I hope you find a home soon. In the meantime, you've got the greatest foster mom. :)

This poor baby is so lonely in my bathroom. I went into keep her company and she layed down next to me and started purring. Next thing you know she bites me - hard!!! I've got scratches and a couple of puncture marks I'll have to keep my eye on. I am sobbing right now because this is the 3rd home she's been in and I feel so bad for her. :( Sometimes I don't know why I do this rescue stuff. It breaks my heart. Her last baby was placed on Mother's Day. She misses her babies and is very lonlely. We tried to convince the family to take both her and her baby, but they only wanted the kitten. Stupid people.

Her picture and bio are due in the Courant on the 24th. I'm praying someone will give this poor girl a chance. If anyone deserves it, it's Mama.:(

Poor you - and poor mamacat. Why would she purr and then bite you hard? I guess she is just a bit of a wreck with all the changes in her little life.

She sounds gorgeous - I pray she will find a home quickly - and will accept your love and attention and relax a bit more.

I hope your hand heals...and her heart. Your heart will be happy when she meets her furrever person and goes HOME. :)

I had a beanie baby (about the size of my thumb) of a cat and I put it in with her. She IMMEDIATELY grabbed her out of my hand and she now has her "baby" and has calmed down alot. She's a sweet lil thing. She's being spayed tomorrow and her picture will be the Pet of the Week in the Courant on Saturday. I'm hopeful that she'll get a home soon.

I put my kits in my room and let her out for a while. She walked around just looking and finally sat down next to me on the futon to be pet while I watched tv.
