Little bit died the morning of May 14, 2008. Im sorry that it took me soo long to post this. I hope you made it over the bridge safely Little bit, i will always miss you. Go and play now with my other deceased gerbils Jack, Elvis, and Blackie. Rest in peace.:(

He was both, he had been sick a few times before then the day before he died he became really slow. I think he died of a combination of sickness and old age. But he didnt die alone, i was below him asleep.
