The good and the bad: my day

I read the greatest thing in the newspaper today: Petland closed! That is the one in my area of course, they state financial reasons.

The bad thing is in the 10 months they were running they sold 700 puppies. And they sold the most when there were protesters out front attracting business!!!!!!!!!!!! (what did I say about protesters in a different thread, oh yeah, they do the opposite of what they want)

The other bad thing is a nearly lost a fingertip today at work trying to close a window that was stuck. Fortunately i just lost part of the nail. Its painful and annoying, but I'll live. It sure is hard to type with 1.5 hands.

700 puppies in 10 months??!! I had no idea pet stores were so 'successful!" Oh dear. Yes, great news that they closed, I know you've written about them many times.

Keep all those fingers, you may find you need them one day! Glad all is ok.

Ouch...glad you still have the finger! So glad the pet store closed...I hate the one in my area...I wish they would become illegal. I think only licensed, monitored professionals should be allowed to breed dogs and we all know they wouldn't go through pet stores to sell their well bred dogs.
