Shortly after that photo was taken I was in the river. :rolleyes: She jerked me in when I threw the stick too far...its deeper than it looks, the only part of me that wasn't submerged was my head and my arm holding up the camera.

The campground is right by the Nebo Loop (road). We drove up as far as we could and had to continue on foot (too much snow to drive on).

Beautiful pictures, Amy. It's so breathtaking out there! That must have been COLD in the water....brrrrrr.......(unfortunately we humans don't have a dense nearly waterproof undercoat). But good job keeping the camera above water, lol! That snow cave is really interesting. Star & Jack have snow envy, we never did get a good snow out here. Thanks for posting your pics.

Every time I see your pics, I'm amazed at the beauty that surrounds you. You are so lucky! You're also lucky your camera didn't get soaked. That would have been really bad. I know what you mean about throwing things, though. Dasher has dragged me a few times, too. Luckily, I was nowhere near water. I love all of them but this is just too cute!

Thanks everyone! :) Yes the water was indeed very cold, I hit a rock too so I had a nice purple knee for a while...but I'm just glad the camera survived! ;)
