Mawmee took me (Leonardo) to the doktor!

I been having the sneezies for a cuple of days. Nothing new! I have allergies. My nosie was all runny last night so much I snorted lots. Mawmee told me if I weren't better today, she was callin the doktor. I didn't eat brewfst and she called the doktor like she promised. I was grabbed and stuffed into the cat carry box. We zoomed to the vets. (I hate the way mawmee drives and yelled all the way to make sure she knew I was not happy). Do you know what the doktor did? She stuck a glass ruler up my bum!!! Now really!! Said I had no fever and seemed glad about that. Then she gave me a SHOT. THEN poked a big old pill down my froat!!! She even gave mawmee some to take home so she can poke them down my froat for days!!!

It wasn't all bad. Everybody telled me how handsome I am and how big. One lady said she hoped I was pregnant. Mawmee said, "I hope he isn't! I want a refund on his neutering job if he is!" I fooled them though, I lost a whole pound since I was there last time. I only weigh 13 1/2 pounds now.

Mawmee said we can have tuna for lunch and I can have some. The doktor told us that the reason I weren't eating was I was so stuffed up I can't smell my food. Cats need to smell their food to eat. Ain't that somethin? My birfday is the 31st and Mawmee said she wants me to feel good so I can enjoy it. Thanks for readin' my story!:D

Poor Leonardo... my, you have gone thru a lot today, wow! I can't imagine how it feels to have gone thru what you have, but I'm sure it wasn't pleasant ;) . But your mommie did this only because she loves you and wants all the best for you. She nor we, don't want you to be ill, so sometimes, you have to go to see those white coats :rolleyes:. They do nasty things yes, but well, they also tend to make you feel better after all that poking, crabbing, poking and a bit more crabbing.
And hey, you can always 'milk' a bit of attention from mommie now, after all, what you went thru, you only deserve it! :)

Poor thing! I bet you'de much rather be at home then to have gone through the dreaded "white coats" place! I am glad you're OK now. Poor little guy...I am so sorry that rude woman thought you were pregnant! Some people have no tact huh Leonardo? :)

Glad you are better and are dining on tuna for lunch...you deserve it! Especially after the temperature thing...yuck. I was at the vet with Basil and someone was talking about a new way to take temps on animals...it was in the ear or something like that. MUCH less evasive. Tell your mommy to ask about that next time...hopefully the next time you have to go back, it'll be the norm. Take care sweetie!!

What an ordeal, what indignity you've suffered through, from the porta prison to the white coats to the ruler thingy!!:eek: But, you made your Mawmee so proud! Now, you simply HAVE to get over your bad case of the sniffies, get those nose pipes all unplugged so you can start yumming down all that tuna!! I know it's no fun, but take your medicine and get well real soon, ok? You got you a good Mawmee, Leonardo. She knew real quick that you weren't feeling too good. I hope you are being cooperative in taking your pills. (I had to whisper that word because Hannah hates to hear it.) Isn't it funny how us Mawmees bitch and complain about a furkid's weight, but the first time you all don't eat your food, we get frantic?

Hope that by tomorrow morning that pill power is taking its effect and we get to hear how much better you are. Okay, now you get a good night's sleep, dear boy, and don't go sneezing on the other kids.

As if being jumbled into our carriers isn't enough trauma for a kitty to bear then there's the *dreaded glass ruler.* Sometimes we hear our mom saying she can't taste her food when she has the sneezies too. Gosh we hope it never happens to us 'cuz we really love eatin (although one of us could stand to lose a pound or two). :rolleyes: Well we hopes you're feelin good real soon.

Tanks for all the prayers and well wishes ebbybody. They must be workin'. Mawmee is such a scardy cat. Yeterday afternoon I was all stretched out inna cool baf tubbie just snoozin away. I heard Mawmee callin me but I was SOOOO comfy. Suddenly, she was standing over me yellin' Leonardo!!!!! She must a thunk I went to the Rainbow Bridge or somethin'. I yawned real wide so she would know I was still on this planet and rolled over for a tummy rub. To make her happy, I ate some supper. This mornin' I was coughin' a mite, just to get the ickie stuff outa my nose, you understand, and she started smilin' upside down again. So I ate some breakfast and opened real wide when she shoved my medicine down my froat. Course, I coulda dun without her finger shoving the pill haveway down but she said she wanted to make sure it went down. Well, it sure did! I can breathe better today too. Tanks again ebbybody.

tanks for all the well wishes ebbybuddy! mawmee threatened me with da doktor again last night cause i wouldn't eat my supper. my med makes me all hot and iky feelin and not hungry. guess what she did to me!!! she rubbed canned food on my nosey!! what an indignaty!! i admit it tasted pretty good when i liked it off thou. i even ate a few bites as long as she would hold it in her hand and feed me. she didn't seem to mind it was all gooey. i ate some breakfast this mornin' and even a snacky but then she gave me the awful med again. food looked just awful. mawmee was followin' me around da house just a while ago and i was refusin to eat. she did it again. rubbed food on my nosey. i had enough of dat!!! i ate two hole spoonfuls of can food and some crunchy. i hadn't eaten crunchy for days! i had to save some room because supper is in a few hours and i better eat a bite or she will put some on my nose again. i still have 4 meds left. woe is me!

Your mommy is very smart to figure out a way to get nourishment into a under-the-weather furry dreamboat like you. Way to go, Moff! Hate to have his cold trigger a liver problem. hi, ebbyone! tanks for all the well wishes and advice. i played a joke on mawmee and didn't eat supper last nite. i had a snack earlier and weren't that hungry but when she went to take her bubbly bath, i ate some krunchy food. she spoiled the joke and peeked around the door and caught me. just can't get nothin' by her. i ate my breakfast and eben a snack this mornin' but i still got a pill shoved down my froat. i been sneezin some and just sneezed on mawmees bare foot. a nice juicy sneeze! i hope she preciated how i shared with her. she said i still have to take my pill eben on my birfday, saturday! but sunday is the last one. course my allergy will still be here but the infection should be gone. i felt good enough to chase chester out of the room. hee hee.

Keep eating all your krunchies and letting your mommy give you pills - they're good for you - and that way you will be able to fully enjoy your big day on Saturday. Don't want to be feeling sickly on your birfday do you? :)

is parsley anyting like catnip? i luv catnip! i's honored miz sophie is willin to share her favorite treat with me. i'd bring her one of my favorite pink curlers. it would look stunnin' on her. i made mawmee very happy dis mornin'. i ate all my breakfast ('cept on tiny bite) and two snacks. i also took my med like a good boy. still got the sneezies and drippy nose but will have unless it rains. so dusty here.
