This just in: :D

Didn't want it buried in the other thread, so am posting a new one. Please leave this for a bit, Karen...

Ms. Carnie:

Thank you for your email. Hex is doing great, and Yes we have reached our goal. However, I do not want to stop there. There are pet owners whose offsprings are born with deformities and I want them to know they have an alternative.

Vanilla (mom) will be spayed as soon as Hex is eating solids. We just wanted her to have the experience of being a mom - and she has proven to all of us that she's a GOOD ONE!

Please visit us on our website for weekly updates on Hex. www.hexfoundation.org

Thank you, Gary. He will need all the help from the Pet Angels, as a couple of digestive organs have to be separated so he can function on his own, and he is just a tiny thing.

It's good to know they are and will be with him. :)

Thank you, Candace! That is so good to know. I am still going to donate some money to them. I'm sure he'll need lots of extra special care as he heals, and if they'll help other handicapped/deformed kitties too, that's great.

This is great news. I hope we will see information on him when his surgery is done and updates on him. He is really a cutie.
