Sandi, I'm going to cross-post this on another northern breeds group I'm in - perhaps someone can help out. He is a handsome boy! His owner must be heartbroken to ave to let him go.

Aww. Come on, Pat. He'd fit right in with your two. Don't you need just one more...? :D :p

Oh I wish I could. I would love to add another husky to my home.. But we are wayy to overrun with pup at the moment, and with a baby I would have like no extra time to give him .. I hope he finds his forver home soon :)

Wow, he's a beautiful dog. I'd be heartbroken too, if I had no place to
keep him properly. :( He seems so well cared for & I hope he finds some
good person to take him.

A little update...
I talked to Candice this morning & got the whole story- the good news is that there is a guy considering adopting him, he's looking at one other dog today & will get back to her about Onyx soon (paws crossed he chooses Onyx as his fureverbuddy!).
Poor Onyx has been shuttled around to 4 different homes already - (once to a non-sibe savvy home where he killed the family cat :( ) The current owner is a woman who took an apartment that doesn't allow dogs, as she thought she had someone to take Onyx, but it fell through.
Candice said Onyx is very well trained & really hit it off with the guy that came to see him. Plus, he's used to living in a fairly small space, just needs the "right" owner, someone who understands the breed.
Candice took over Patriot Siberian Rescue a while back & is now the main rescue for CT and RI. She seems like a great lady! (I think I just found a local sibe rescue to send my donations to!)
Duck- Our rental contract prohibits us from having more than two pets, or this boy wouldn't be looking for a home anymore! ;)

I do hope his next home has someone who understands the breed &
provides him a terrific home. I'm sorry about the cat but, if you truly
knew the breed, they would never leave these two together unsupervised.
This doesn't mean he is a "bad" dog. He looks like a big, goofy pup who
needs some training & direction. I love this picture. :)
