She's sleeping a lot the last days, and she didn't eat much today. She also seems to be a bit lethargic today, and seems to feel disturbed when I talk to her, or pet her. Hopefully she's not seriously ill.

If this continues, I fear we need to do some bloodwork. This is always a terrible ordeal for her and I do not like to put her through this. Her last vet visit is only a couple of weeks ago and she had her heart and lungs checked, according to the vet, it was fine. She's a bit overweight, but it's hard for her to lose weight because of the struvite crystal diet. The vet said that she could develope some problems with her blood circulation because of her size. Well, maybe it's that what's bothering her these days, or she's just tired.

Apart from that, she's not showing any signs of illness. She just seems to be exhausted.

Hopefully it's nothing serious!

Oh goodness, we seem to have an outbreak of sick kitties lately. I hope it's nothing serious but we'll get started on the prayers for Luna right away. Hold a good thought and we'll pray positive here for Luna and you, Kirsten.....

Thank you!!

Well, Luna was never a very active cat, so it's sometimes hard to tell if she's just having a lazy day, or if she's not doing well... :(

Thanks! :)

Well, she just threw up. Only liquid and a bit of grass; I guess she needs to get rid of a hairball but wasn't successful. I better get her some malt paste.

Right now she's sitting on the window sill next to the tilted window and is enjoying the fresh air.

Hoping it's just a hairball! It's amazing how it can shut them down for a few days and then they're back to normal. They sure can give us a scare! Hope she's doing better today.

Thanks! :)

Yes, she seems to do better now, she's eating, and is more active (even though "active" is never the right word to describe Luna ;)).

There's another thing that's worrying me. She's often attacked by Lily now; Lily is stalking her, sitting behind doors and won't let Luna pass the door. Or she's jumping onto Luna's back from behind when she's prepairing for a cuddle session with mommy. :( I believe these things are really bugging Luna, and I hope she doesn't become depressive over this. She has also peed on the sofa again. :(

I don't believe Lily really means to harass Luna, I figure it's more because she's bored with her and wants to get an reaction from her, and of course she's jealous when Luna is approaching me. I'm very upset about this situation here.

Glad Luna appears to be feeling a bit better.

I think you are right about Lily - she seems to want Luna to react to her. Do they ever play together?

Maybe Lily wants someone to mess around with ;)

Do they ever play together?

Actually not. Lily's version of playing with Luna is chasing her, but I do not think that Luna finds that very funny.

Well, I had the same thought already. LOL But my financial situation doesn't allow a third cat, and I'm not sure if Luna would be too happy about another one to deal with...

I think Lily knows that Luna is not feeling well and wants to be in CHARGE!!!
