Good morning Nike! I couldn't believe it when I read you were a female orangie...I've never heard of that :o I am so glad you found your new family. My orangeman, Rocky, was so social that everyone in the neighborhood thought he was theirs :). It sounds like you're very tolerant of your furry sibs and I know deep down in your heart, you love them all! I'm glad you were so considerate of Cody during his last months. I don't know if your humans let you out (since you were a stray, you may just insist upon it) or if you stay inside now and look at all the birdies from the window but whatever your situation is, enjoy this beautiful sunny day in VA (I'm actually on my way to Ashburn today to visit my family) and happy COTD to you. :cool:

But here is my suggestion:

Get Nike a "Whipped Cream" hat and put it upon her head.

Then you can pretend that she is pumpkin pie.

But don't ever forget that you are just pretending.

She might get upset if you were to stick a fork into her.

And you might lose your fork hand.

My orange boy Tigger's eyes 'bout popped out of his head when he read you were an orange girl, Nike!:D What a beautiful girl you are, an especially rich and yummy shade of orange and such stunning Tabby markings! And you and my Tig aren't just of the same breed, like you he just "appeared" one day on our front porch (owners nowhere to be found!) AND, he has a kitty and guinea pigs sibs! hehe Hmmm, sounds like a match to me!;) Well, you certainly found your way to the most loving and caring of forever homes, sweetheart; kitties seem to have a "second sense" about these things...lucky us!:) Thanks for ending my day with a big smile Nike, our extra special, and most deserving, CAT OF THE DAY! What a pretty orange girl you are Nike! My orange boy Sandy swooned when he saw you. He too started out as a porch cat and now is a real love-bug. I hope you had a great day as our COTD and have many more healthy and happy days with the family who loves you so much.
