On Saturday March 29th 2008, Our precious innocent Shelby was viscously struck, hit and run over deliberately by a young man in a Ford Bronco, as she stood near the end of our property.
We rushed her to a nearby Animal Emergency Clinic to get her help. Once there they would not allow us to leave with Shelby and they forced us to sign her over to them.
Once again, Shelby was saved by the York SPCA. Now we are seeking help to get her back.

I emailed both Butch and Connie with iMom's website. What an unfortunate accident...how many of us have our furbabies get out of the yard and nothing happens. I hope they can get their gate fixed and secured.

I hope someone hears that idiot driver bragging about what he did and turns him in! Or sees the car.

Prayers for Shelby - such a pretty dog!

ETA: I heard back from Connie right away - iMom and all the orgs they could find are not accepting applications due to lack of funds.

SO - I listed off a bunch of fund-raising ideas I could think of. I am glad Shelby survived the surgery - but she will be put up for adoption if they don't come up with the $3,000.00

Let's hope all works out.
