Sir Issac Newton should have owned a cat. If he had, gravity would have been discovered a lot sooner.
Here's the deal.
If I don't load up the Edster's bowl before I go to sleep or if he decides to flip the water bowl over on the floor, I wake up early.
I can tune out the meows but when hardware starts to hit the floor I have to wake up.
Keys, CD cases, books-the real irritant is the little steel paperclip holder. I use that as a change jar on the table. A buck and a half on a tile floor makes you wake up in a hurry....
If Sir Isaac owned a cat, and discovered gravity earlier in his life he could have done some other scientific research. Like trainging cats to stay off the furniture or could taught them how to feed themselves.
As it is, we got gravity!
