Critters, from his email address it looks like he is in the military. There are some groups that foster specifically for military personnel (I currently have 2 cats whose dad is in Bagdad). Even though this may not be a new "furrever" home it will buy the cats some time.

You can always email the Maine Coon Alliance Rescue Network. They have foster homes all over the country.
