A piece of my heart is still ripped open. It's been 5 years on April 3 and I miss you, Cody my love, every day. I talk about you, think of you and call Logan by your name. I think of you when I cook chicken (your fave) and hate seeing liverwurst 'cause it reminds me of your pills and your poor hips. But despite all your health problems, you were the happiest, bravest, loving and cleverest boy ever!

Nancy said you were on a hill, the Guardian of RB, watching over everyone there, just as you did in life. I'm so proud of you. Stop by and give mom and dad a kiss when you have a second, OK?

Love you forever and ever. Til we meet again. I'll bring the bucket of tennis balls!

Big hugs to you, Karen.

I didn't realize that Cody and Killian went to RB on April 2nd and 3rd. Now we have added Smiley on March 31, too. Not a good time of year, I guess.

I know exactly how you feel :( I hope that some day, the loss won't be so painful for you. Meanwhile, let sweet Klo be your comfort. I know a part of your heart has much love for her, as well.

Karen I remember that day so well. We cried on the phone together. Today must feel like the wound is opening a little. It never fully heals, does it? Go grab your sweet Klo and love on her and be grateful for her presence in your life right now. Sending you lots and lots of (((hugs))).

Oh Karen, I am so sorry you're in so much pain. I know how hard it is to deal with the loss of a pet, as I'm sure everyone else on this board has.

Cody,

You are truly missed both by all Pters but most importantly your Mama, Daddy and Logan. Play hard bud. You certainly deserve it.
