View Full Version : Too scary :)
I needed some work done on my house, so last week there was an electrician AND a guy from the gas company, both in the house at the same time!
The cats reacted to this like the brave little watchcats they are. They ran downstairs and hid in the basement. When the workers went into the basement, the cats tore upstairs and hid in the bedroom.
Here you see Missy and Striker in their hiding places. Missy is in the back of the closet behind my sleeping bag, and Striker is behind the bookcase. Poor kids.

Aw, poor kitties. Hope they came out once everyone left! Some of mine take till the next day to relax and show their faces again.

1st... I have a few who will do the same thing, and others who will follow them around.
2nd... I have an overwhelming urge to straighten and organize your bookshelves, lol.

If the Found Cats see someone for more than a few times, they get fairly used to them. They know my Aunt Joan very well and the Animal Welfare Ladies all get a HUGE MEEOW and PURRRRR especially from Juke Joint Joseph.

Eddie would agree..."you can never be too careful!" but Edwina...she loves to climb into their tool boxes. Might be something she needs in there!
I hope it is safe to come out now!

Your poor little kitties look so scared, the pictures tugged at my heart seeing those sweet faces. I just wanted to pick them up, hug them and gently tell them all is well with their world because Meowmie loves them and would never allow anyone to harm them. Tons of scritchies and lovies for each of them from me!
Awww, poor widdle scaredy cats. :) My two sympathize with them. Whenever we have someone in to do work on the house they hide. I remember one day after having new carpets installed Trevor didn't come out for 7 hours.

LOL! My bookshelves have been a horrible mess for years now, and I would LOVE it if some kind person would come over and organize them. And then you can work on the closets!

Aww, they do look scared, but I bet they've found out it's safe now. :) Fister goes under my bed as soon as the doorbell rings.

Bubba and Spike would immediately have to "supervise". Moby, Diamond and Pink Nose would be scared at first, then after awhile would have to oversee the proceedings. The rest of the crew: "What cats?" :p
