Look at this sweet face, she looks pretty harmless, doesn't she.
She wouldn't hurt a fly, after all she is almost 20 years old.

Well, she may be old and deaf and half blind but she is still very dangerous.

Do you really want to know what she did?

It was early on Easter morning, in a dark bathroom because the nightlight had burnt out the night before.
Samantha loves to sleep under the shower curtain.
She was heading out of the bathroom door and my son was just coming around the corner to enter the bathroom when...
Samantha tripped him and he broke his toe on the door frame trying not to step on her!
My son had to go to the ER, get x-rays and is now on crutches for a few weeks.
Samantha by the way is fine, she may be old but she sure is tough!
If anyone asks how my son broke his toe, the answer is Chuck Norris! ;)

I AM SURE THAT SAMANTHA DID NOT MEAN TO HURT YOUR SON. I HAVE LEARNED TO BE PATIENT AND WAIT UNTIL THE THUNDERING HERD PRECEDES ME ON THE STAIRS , AS I AM OLD AND IF I FALL I WONT BOUNCE.
SAMNTHA WILL HELP YOUR SON RECUPERATE, I AM SURE OF THAT.
AFTER ALL ACCIDENTS WILL HAPPEN!!!!

Samantha, your skin-brother did not want to step on you! How sweet is that? I'm with Killearn Kitties, that it is in the timing. I love your dainty little front pawsies!

I think my son will heal quickly. He's pretty tough and he's a teenager.
Samantha has been slowing down, the jingle bell on her collar doesn't always make noise when she walks.
Because she doesn't hear and doesn't see well she tends to bump into walls once in a while.
One of her nicknames is "Helen Keller Kitty". We try our best to keep obstacles out of her way but once in a while one of us gets run over by her.
Last year my husband tripped over her and her tail had a kink in it for a few days. She kept twitching it back and forth to work the kink out of it.
I have some new photos of her that I will have to post soon.
She's still my baby and we all still love her even if she does trip us up once in a while. :)

Oh my.... I am so sorry your son hurt his toe, and I am certain Samantha is sorry also. She meant no harm! My Tabitha sends her warm cuddles and huggies!

Aww, that's funny! Not the broken toe, but the whole idea! Sam was doing a good job guarding the house, wasn't she? :D
