WELL IM THINKING OF GETTING A PITBULL PUPPY BUT THE TOWNHOUSES WE ARE MOVING INTO REQUIRE SPAYED AND NEUTERED DOGS. I WANT A FEMALE AND WAS WONDERING IF THE AGE IS ANY DIFFERENT AND AROUND WHAT AGE I SHOULD GET MY FEMALE PUP SPAYED ONCE I GET HER.

My vet said 5 months old for females, as that way, they don't go into heat, ever. That's exactly when I had Honey and Lilly spayed. I have never regretted it.

Some vets will do it as young as 3 months. Check around.

Also make sure your complex allows your breed of dog. Around here in FL, some breeds are not allowed:
Pits
Shepherds
Rotts
Mastiffs
Dobermans
Just to name a few.

ok thanxs. i think 5 months sounds pretty good for me. i believe i will wait till january to get a pit puppy cause i will be in my own place. i have a list of pet friendly apartments that look like they could be affordable and are non-discriminatory. i will write everyone when i finally get her.;)
