Breed Question

:confused: We are going to get a new kitty and are trying to learn the differences between a Bengal and an Egyptian Mau. Does anyone have either of these two cats and know what how the breeds are similar or different? Thanks.

I don't have much personal experience with either breed (don't see many of either at work) however I found some info online about each breed, I hope that helps some.

You can go on TICA.org or CFA.org and research the breeds you are looking for. TICA may be your best bet. I know about the Maine Coons but that is not going to help you. ;) Good luck to you.

How about adopting a beautiful, well maintained bengal from your local bengal rescue????? ;)

Depending upon your location, I have a woman who has a 4 month old Bengal that she wants to rehome. I guess she's not used to the kitten stage (it's her first cat).

I have a friend who's nephew owns 3 bengals and from what I HEAR THE BREED IS VERY ATHLETIC AND GETS INTO EVERYTHING THEY SEE. THEY ALSO LOVE THE WATER AND COME WHEN OWNERS SHOWER OR BATHE. THEY REALLY NEED THE COMPANY OF ONE OF THEIR OWN BECAUSE THEY ARE EXTREMELY SOCIAL!!!....SUSANSWATLIN 518:cool::cool::cool::cool:
