She's gone now.
She looked so peaceful after she was gone and accepted the needle when she usually wouldn't.
She's with Thunder now and happy.

Sounds like her passing was peaceful; yes, she was ready, it was time.

I'm sooo sorry Alicia. Like you said though she is with Thunder now and she is happy. I think she was tired and ready to go home. She will have lots of fun and be young and agile once again at RB.

They're terrible.
My mom was crying so hard she was puking and my dad..well I've never heard him cry like he did..he was hyperventalating.

It's going to be weird not hearing a dog in the house or barking at nothing.
There's nothing to protect our house, noone to protect me from my bad dreams.
I can't just say I want to go for a walk and grab a dog now, there's places I can't go by myself now because I have no dog. I can't stay at home alone now because I have no dog to protect me.

I've grown up so used to all those things.

I was thinking of you guys today. It sounds like Rockee was tired and ready to go play forever with Thunder at the RB. I'm glad that she went peacefully and did not struggle or fight in a way that would make the memory more heartbreaking that it already was.

We never forget our pets, they always live forever in our memories. In some way they are still with us, just not in person, so to speak, but they are always in our hearts forever until we can be reunited again someday to scratch their ears and give a hug. My condolences to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel =( I cried until I threw up too when Ginger went. Please tell your mom and dad I'm sorry too. I know how badly it hurts. She had a good life with you though! I'm glad you got to take some pictures and say goodbye, that really DOES help, even if it doesn't seem like it. I didn't get to say goodbyes and that's hard, so I am so happy for you in that way, that you were able to. My heart goes out to you all =(

I am so very sorry, I knew this was coming but I also had to catch my breath and felt a knot in my stomach when I saw the title. I am truly so very sorry for your family, I wish I had some wise words to give all of you that would ease your pain and make it a little more bearable but I don't. All I can say is hug each other, love each other and cry together and please never doubt they are both looking down on you and they will always be in your heart. You are never truly alone.

Rest in peace, sweetie. You go find my Gracie - she's a black doggie who went white around the eyes and muzzle went she got older, too. She's a tall girl (mostly Great Dane), but she's sweet as sugar, and has been there a while, so will know all the good spots.

please never doubt they are both looking down on you I never do, right after their passing while my family is crying I picture them in the room, behind us or licking our faces and looking at us wondering why were crying when they are right there. I know they are still their to catch the tears and watch over me but it's hard when you can't actually see them.

Oh Alicia I am so sorry this is so difficult for you guys. It really does show how much you all love Rockee. I know it is so hard to go through and then to see your parents taking it hard makes it even more difficult. There is nothing anyone can say to take away the emptiness and the pain from you all but you will see with time you will look back on the memories without tears and instead smile. It is a hard road but Rockee and Thunder will help you through it. You have 2 really special guardian angels looking over you and they know how much you loved them both.
