My brother and sister in law have a Min. Pin. named Hercules. He is about um... 7 months old now. He is such a cuttie. Very smart, very spoiled, but very cute :D

I have a funny story about a minpin I once knew! His name was Friday and he was (he still is, I jsut haven't seen him in years!) the cutest, most rambunctious little guy! One day, I was standing on my balcony talking to a friend in the yard. Friday was standing right next to me and we had netting all along the balcony so that my shih-tzu wouldn't try to jump through the rails. Well, Friday just pushed the netting out of the way and L E A P E D off the balcony!!! It was at least 6, 7 ft off the ground! I thought for sure he would be hurt and I couldn't even look!! When I did, he was gone! He didn't even hurt himself! He jumped off a 6 ft balcony and just started running around the yard like it was no big deal! I couldn't believe it! It makes me smile to think of that dog! He did the funniest things! Another time, I left him in my car while I ran into work for about 5 minutes. When I came back, he had pooped on a Pepsi bottle that was on the floor, not on the floor, but on the bottle! And it was on of those big bottles so it was as big as him!! He must have done it on purpose! :D
Sorry, I know you were only asking if anyone had one and I don't but it reminded me of that little guy and made me chuckle!! He was/is a NUT!

Hi, I own a Min Pin, he is 20 months of age. He is very sweet, very very energetic, very spoiled. Does anyone have info on their temperments, and attitudes as thy get older? He plays very rough, the rougher you get with him, the rougher he will get. Taz loves to attack windpants, he grabs my son every time he walks by him in them.

Hi, I LoveHounds, I appreciate your info on where to find out about my Min Pin. I did have a photo available of him, but I sent it to PetOfTheDay, they havent used it yet. It was sent back in September. He is black/rust, weighs between 12-13 lbs. Taz loves those beefknuckles, the basted ones. My vet tolds me to get those rather than the rawhides. He loves beanie toys that shake and make noise when he plays with them. He likes those sillyslammers, basically anything that makes noise. He pretty much likes everybody, except the vets asst. Well, I Love Hounds, what kind of hounds do you have? My favorite are beagles.

I love any kind of dog . my dog likes beanie babies too. He doesn't like the vet either. He likes kids than adults.

Well, Taz visited the vet today for his shots. He was not happy. They had to muzzle him for the heartworm test, he tried his best to get the muzzle off. It took almost 5mins to get it on him. I guess between the long ride, the shots and the excitement, he got a sour tummy. I am an animal lover, rather wild or domestic. My hubby will not let me go to a pet shop by myself because hes afraid of what I may bring home next. I have a MinPin, a cat, 2 snakes. I would have more if I could get away with it.

Beagles are my fave to :D Hannah is a three year old beagle (the one with the freckles) and Copper is a four year old beagle basset hound X.

I also have a seven year old cat named Simba, a love bird named Thomas, and may farm animals.

I rescue aniamls so I have collected a few over they years :D

Yes, Beagles are very cute, I have had them when I was in my teens. They are alot of fun. I had one named Baby-girl, she was 7mos old and weighed 7.5 pounds. The smallest I had ever seen.She was so funny, she would get to running so fast that when she would try to stop, she would land on her nose with her back feet in the air and her front paws on her ears. My Mom had one he was lemon in color, biggest wimp I ever seen for a beagle, but an excellent breeder.
Oh Well, I got my Taz now, he is more than enuf fun. He is like dealing with a pair of hyper two year old boys. My husband or son will throw a toy for him and he will run so hard ccross the floor that he cant stop, he runs into the back door . Sometimes Taz will try to stop, half way accross and his hiney will bounce the rest of the way like a bunny hopping. I see on the board it says you are from Canada, Must get awful cold there , and lots of snow. BURRRR......

Yep it gets really cold here in Canada :rolleyes: I HATE the cold. But its beautiful here in the winter time. The hounds like it so if there happy Im happy :D But that doesn't meen Im not praying for summer ...lol..

Hi, Ilovehounds, This is Tazs Mom, We are thinking very seriously bout getting a beagle puppy for our Taz to play with. Especially while we are working and in school, during the day. We , my husband and myself have both had them in our past and know that they are very loving and active pets. We are just trying to decide about male or female and the best way to housebreak. We housebroke our minpin by giving treats like milkbones when he did well, and a spanking when he didnt do so good. I just do not remember if beagles are as stubborn as minpins.
This weather has been so crazy here in Fl. in the last month we dont know how to plan our weeks or anything lately.Well, Ilovehounds, hope to hear from you soon. Or actually to anyone else out there with advice

I have a male and a female and they are the best of friends never fight or anything. I don't know if two males would get along better or not ????

I can't really help you with training, Hannah sort of trained herself, I never had any problems with her. She was born outside so when I brought her home she automaticly wanted out to go to the bathroom. I know My brother had a hard time training Hercules and he still has the odd accident. Everydog varies, I never found hounds stuborn just VERY independent :D

ha ha its funny how the hound howl scares other dogs, when my brother brought his min pin over for the firts time my parents german shepherd barked at it and it didn't bother him but when Copper let out a howl when he saw him he went running with his little stub tail between his legs and it took him a long time to go near him again ...lol

Just an FYI. While surfing one day I came to one of the most charming web sites! In a search engine type Ty the rat terrier. Ty's owner has put a lot of imagination to her website and it is soooooo funny. There is also a link to Ty's friend Timmy's website, he is a mini pin! Our lucho is and energetic that some times he starts to run from wall to wall without a reason, even after his 2 hours walk.

Or takes his ball and throw it just to catch it again and throw it again and so on, for some time like half hour.

I thisk is just to keep in shape :)
