She came over to me at work the other day and said she got another cat   !

Male, fixed, UTD. I just shook my head. No matter what I say to this IDIOT, she insists on having a pet she CANNOT CARE FOR!!!!

Okay, well now it gets even better...she calls me last night and said she needs to find it a home because she's moving into a place that doesn't allow pets (Section 8).

Her exact words were, "I didn't realize on my lease it said no pets." And this is my problem HOW??????

I went, put my face in a pillow and screamed my bloody head off, I was so pissed!!!

Why am I getting involved??? Because she GOT me involved. I could very well walk away from this sitution, but I can't. I don't trust this woman not to put him out on the street or something.

*sigh* Have I said how much I HATE stupid, irresponsible pet owners lately??? Well I am now!!

I told her to call the lease office and ask them for at least a week or so to find a home for him. I hope they agree. If not, I'll get stuck with him in my bathroom. I also told her I needed paperwork proving his neuter, shots, etc.

Well, she seems to have a heart....but no brain.

Sorry she involved you...again.

I hope you or she will be able to find it a home.

Aww Donna people like that just make me sick to the stomach, i can well understand your fustration, been there ,done that, as you well know, all i can say is thank god you have the heart of gold you do, it is easier not to get involved and walk away sometimes, but you are like me you just cannot stand by and see this animal suffer,as no doubt it will do, i wish you all the best of luck with this situation and that you can re-home kitty, and bless you. :)

Where did she get the cat from? How long has she had it? Can she return it? Depending on who / where, they would MUCH prefer to have teh cat back than out in the street.

Just one idea, may or may not help.

Ah yeah I was thinking this -- can't she return it to the shelter she got him from?

Someone got it for her. Don't know much more. She was afraid to talk to me yesterday at work, and rightfully so cuz I was in a foul mood over this. She was supposed to get me paperwork proving the cat is fixed and utd on shots. No far nothing.
