I've had a subscription to Cat Fancy for about 12 years now. I have learned quite a bit from that magazine!
The same company puts out Aquarium FISH!, and I got that one for about 5 years. Again, I learned quite bit. Just seemed like I had enough on that line, I am not expanding, in fact I am now down to one tank and 12 to 16 tetras of various types.
I've read Dog Fancy at the vet's office, never got a subscription.
I am now considering a subscription to The Bichon Frise Reporter, as I have 4 of them, he hee.
We have a local one which I pick up now and then, The Animal Print, but I don't think it is available out side of our small state. And I don't get it regularly.

I subscribe to BARK and WHOLE DOG JOURNAL.
I recently subscribed to ANIMAL WELLNESS but they haven't sent me an issue yet and it's been two months and they're not returning my emails. :(

I do not like Dog Fancy, it's way too broad. I like Dogs in Review, Dogs World, AKC Gazette, and Practical Horseman.

This thread got me thinking, so last evening I went early for Lacey's class. They have a library of sorts there, and lots of magazines for folks to browse through. I saw quite a few I'd never even HEARD of!
Modern Dog and Pet AGe were the only 2 I had time to go through. WOW!
And I copied down some interesting web sites from their ads. Warning, from what I can see, these are high end retailers. But I've enjoyed looking any way!
petgadgets.com
necktiesfordogs.com
thayerandridge.com
mypuppytales.com (you can order a book with your dog's name in the story; I've seen similar for children, using the child's name!)
poochieshoos.com (hilarious items, not sure any of MY pups would wear them)
prettyyiji.com
And my favorite:
1cutepooch.com
Also, did you know you can order a driver license for your dog?

Have fun!
(Sorry if I've hijacked this thread. Didn't mean to, it seemed related.)
