TOLEDO, Ohio -- A Toledo man was sentenced Monday to life in prison for raping a 7-year-old girl he babysat.
Kevin Ware had entered an Alford plea to three counts of rape Monday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. In an Alford plea, a defendant acknowledges there is enough evidence for a conviction but does not admit guilt.
Prosecutors said the 29-year-old Ware molested the girl for two years, when she was between the ages of 5 and 7. Police said he also had sex with his mother in front of the child.
Ware's mother, 55-year-old Terry Walker, was sentenced to four years in prison in August.
She pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery for having a long-term sexual relationship with her son.
Not only did this 29 year old man rape a child... he also had "a long-term sexual relationship" with his own MOTHER!!!!
