I'm posting this for Robin (Robilee) as she's finding it hard to talk about.

I'd never met Lily, but I felt like I did.
I'm just going to post the pm that Robin sent me and when she's feeling like it she can post more....

Lily is gone. She was put to sleep yesterday around 4pm. Her body was shutting down. Lea called the vet and she took her in to see him and make sure what was going on before she made her decision. He said Lily was starving herself to death. Once the vet confirmed what Lea already knew she made the final decision. Greg was with her and I'm so grateful that he has been there for her during Lily's decline over the past few years. I know that he loved that little girl just as much as Lea did and I know they are both hurting pretty bad. I'm still feeling a bit numb and it doesn't seem real to me and I know that is because I haven't seen Lily for awhile. I wish I could have seen her before this happened. I keep looking through the pictures that I have of her and Kay has made a video for her. I will never forget seeing that little girl for the first time. She was from a breeder in Columbus. Lea had to wait for the birth of Lily and then we made a couple of trips to visit the teeny pups and then of course weeks later Lea was able to bring Lily home. Lea waited a long time to get that white fur ball. Lily and Chloe hit it off right away and I can still see Lily climbing on top of Chloe's head and then sliding down her back. She did it all the time. Too cute!

It is a sad weekend for my family. We will miss her so much.

Sweet little Westie girl, lovely Lilly, RIP.

Sounds like she is / was an older gal, and time caught up with her. Now she is young and healthy again, and doing what Westie's do best -- running about, sniff, sniff, sniffing all those lovely new smells up at the Bridge!

Hugs to Lea and all the family.

Lily, you were as pretty as your name. I hope your trip to the RB was a peaceful one. You're now whole and healthy and running free. Your family will miss you but it's not goodbye. Just till you meet again.

Dear Sweet Lily,

I am finally able to stop by and post in your memorial thread. It is hard for me to do that. The family misses you. I miss you. I wish I could write something better. Some kind of great words for you. I know your mommy and daddy will miss you always. In time that pain will ease up but you will never be forgotten. Brandon speaks of you and always remembers how he held you on his lap and you would fall asleep in his arms. I remember you as a wee little pup falling off my porch step and doing your Stevie Wonder impression after that fall. We were so worried when you fell but couldn't help but giggle at your antics. What a great little soul mate and companion you were for your mommy. I know losing you has been extremely difficult for her

Though you are sadly missed I know that you are in a better place. You are pain free. You can hear and you can see. I know that you are having fun at the Rainbow Bridge waiting for your family to join you. I'm sure you have found Chloe, Sugar and Max and that you guys are having a blast running through the open fields. Please tell Chloe that we miss her and say hello.

Here is a video tribute that a friend made for you, Sweet Lily.
